Put all the information in the drawing.
If possible put all panels on one CAD drawing.
To keep file sizes down use simple text fonts & remove templates.
It's very helpful if you can use layers (dims, panels, & text).
When possible don't scale.
We think in feet & inches, talk about 8' x 4's, but we work in millimetres.
The drawing below is for the parts and layout of a 10.5 metre long desk top
To give you an idea of scale the purple rectangle in the top left corner is a 8' x 4' sheet of MDF.
